St. Matthew’s is honored to have been named a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence for high achievement. Our diocesan school offers Pre-K3 through 8th grade.

Saint Matthew’s School has been educating students in Hampton Roads since 1963. Our school helps all children reach their God-given potential. At St. Matthew's technology meets tradition in the classroom, where age-old, proven teaching techniques are combined with new methods that engage children of all different learning styles. Gifted students, above-average students, average students and children with learning challenges all thrive in our school’s loving, though disciplined, learning environment.

Financial Assistance for 2012-2013 School Year
Please click on the financial assistance tab under admissions to apply for financial aid for the 2012-2013 school year. The deadline to submit your application is March 1, 2012.

St. Matthew's Open House

The St. Matthew's Open House is scheduled for Sunday, January 29th from 9:00-12:00. All are invited to come for a tour and take a look at our school. Refreshments will be provided. We will be accepting Pre-Registrations for the 2012-2013 school year.

Did You Know? Over the past 5 years a student from St. Matthew's has been either the Valedictorian or Salutatorian from Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School.
