The school uses the FACT Grant & Aid Assessment to conduct a financial needs analysis for tuition assistance . In addition, the Catholic Diocese of Richmond has allocated funding from the McMahon Parater Foundation for Education (MPFE) for tuition assistance in the 2010-20111 school year.

Families applying for finance aid from MPFE and/or St. Matthew's School will need to complete an application and submit the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment by April 15, 2010. One FACTS application covers students attending any school in the Diocese.

The following information is required to order for FACTS to process your application:

1.Completed online application

2. Payment of the $25 application fee.

3. Copies of your 2008 tax return including all schedules

4. Copies of your 2009 W2 for both you and your spouse.

5. Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security income, welfare, child support, food stamps, workers' compensation and TANF.

6. Mail copies of supporting documents by April 15, 2010 to:

St. Matthew's tuition assistance allocation will be made by May 15, 2010. Award letters for MPFE will be made to eligible families by June 30, 2010.
